It is a goal of the City of Osage City to develop a connected network of sidewalks that allow residents to walk between their neighborhoods and nearby neighborhoods. City Staff has prioritized areas in need and will continue to take steps needed to repair the deteriorated sections of concrete.  The City has implemented a sidewalk improvement program to encourage property owners to replace their dangerous and dilapidated sidewalks.  For more information on how you could be reimbursed for part of the expenses of such a project please view the program information and application.

The City recently received an FAA grant to be used for runway repairs at the Osage City Municipal Airport.  The project included a rejuvenation of the runway, taxiway, apron, new visual runway markings, and crack repair and seal joints.
